This spring Kyiv will host the second quadrilateral meeting of prime ministers of Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Latvia Yevhen Perebiynis said this to Ukrinform.
"In 2015, in Riga, the then prime minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk participated in the first quadrilateral meeting of prime ministers of Ukraine and the Baltic states. We expect that the second such meeting will be held Kyiv in the spring of this year," he said.
The ambassador noted that Latvia like all the Baltic States was the reliable partner of Ukraine. According to him, this happens because the Baltic States "learned by experience about occupation, aggression from the east."
