Poroshenko, EBRD President discuss prospects of cooperation

In the course of the World Economic Forum in Davos, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti.
This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.
The parties discussed prospects of cooperation and introduction of investment projects with the support of the EBRD. The Head of State expressed hope that the volume of EBRD financial resources for cooperation with Ukraine in 2017 would be increased.
The parties also discussed the reform of the banking sphere. Suma Chakrabarti praised the effort of the Ukrainian authorities in the issue of nationalization of PrivatBank and confirmed the intention of the EBRD to further provide expert assistance in the reform of that bank institution.
