Poroshenko informs US Vice President Biden about results of Normandy format talks

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko informed Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden about the results of the meeting of the heads of state in the Normandy format in Berlin.
This is reported by the press service of the Head of State.
“The parties particularly noted the importance of further active involvement of the American side in the facilitation of the Minsk agreements’ implementation and restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity,” the statement reads.
The Head of State urged to reinforce Transatlantic unity for the preservation of consolidated policy of sanctions against Russia due to the continuation of aggression in Donbas and occupation of Crimea.
The parties also discussed the course of Ukrainian reforms and continuation of their support by the United States.
