US Ambassador: New Anti-Corruption project implemented in Kharkiv Region

US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Jovanovic said this at briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We are launching a new project together with the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. There will be a competition between proposals on how to overcome corruption effectively. I urge all who are interested to share your ideas on how to improve the accountability and responsibility of public authorities in the performance of their duties," said Jovanovic.

According to her, "this is the foundation of any effective political system."
