Verkhovna Rada introduces institute of private enforcement officers

Ukrainian MPs have approved the law on agencies and persons in charge of enforcement of court rulings and decisions by other agencies.

A total of 239 MPs voted in favor of relevant draft law No.2506a, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The draft law is aimed at determining the basis of organization of enforcement of court rulings and decisions by other agencies of the state executive agencies and private enforcement officers, their tasks and legal status,” reads an explanatory note to the document.

This law amends a number of legislative acts in order to introduce the mixed system of executive decisions, in particular through the modernization of state executive agencies, as well as the introduction of the institute of private enforcement officers.
