Moscow-interned Savchenko refuses to sign documents on extradition to Ukraine

Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko, who has been illegally detained and convicted in Russia, says she is refusing to sign documents for extradition to Ukraine.

Savchenko explained her decision in a letter posted on her Facebook page.

“I am outraged! They bring me a package of documents to fill in for extradition to Ukraine. Questions that I read there give me a good laugh. The question: 'For what purpose did you cross the Russian border?' Well, can you imagine such a question?! The answer is: "I was kidnapped by the Russian special services. Then they immediately write down my answer in such a free interpretation:'[She] illegally crossed the border'. 'No! That won’t do,' Savchenko said.

According to her, she has turned out to be 'in a sort of evil surrealistic story,' as she had to pay 30,000 Russian rubles for her kidnapping.

However, she added that in this situation she doesn’t feel sorry about giving them the money, but regrets that criminals depict her as a criminal.

“..I will give them these 30,000 Russian rubles! Let them spend it on medicine against stupid thoughts! And that’s all! I can’t agree on anything else!” Savchenko wrote in her post.
