Canada should lift visa requirements for Ukrainians – UCC

"The Ukrainian Canadian Congress calls on Canada to establish criteria and a timetable for the lifting of visa requirements for Ukrainians travelling to Canada," Grod said.

He also welcomed the proposal by the European Commission to lift visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens travelling to the European Union and called on Canada to follow suit.

“Since the Revolution of Dignity, the people and government of Ukraine have made great strides in implementing necessary reforms, and as a result, Ukrainians will soon be able to travel to the European Union without visas. We congratulate Ukraine on this important step, and call on Canada to implement an equivalent visa regime with Ukraine,” Paul Grod said.
