Minsk accords can’t be implemented as EU and Putin exist in different realities – expert

This was stated by President of the Continental European Union Club Olivier Védrine while presenting the Club’s report in Kyiv on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The report says that the Minsk Agreements cannot be implemented. The Minsk Agreements are only the tool of Putin and Moscow to destabilize Ukraine and to continue to destabilize the European Union," the expert said.

Védrine drew a parallel between the delay in the implementation of the Minsk Agreements and the developments in the EU, particularly the referendum in the Netherlands, emphasizing that Russia uses the far right and left parties to break the unity of Europe.

He noted that the old European elite simply did not understand the mentality of Putin and the Russian diplomacy.
