Eleven Crimean Tatars imprisoned in Crimea – Chubarov

At present eleven Crimean Tatars are imprisoned in the territory of occupied Crimea, Chairman of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis Refat Chubarov has said.

“Russian occupants are increasing their repressions in occupied Crimea. Now they’ve reached the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, the highest executive representative body of the Crimean Tatars. In addition, at present 11 our fellows are imprisoned in Crimea,” he said in at a sitting of the Verkhvna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Chubarov added that Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Ahtem Chiygoz was among the prisoners.
