Merkel, Hollande say sanctions against Russia stay until Minsk deal fulfilled

The European Union will retain sanctions against Russia until the full implementation of the Minsk peace deal. 

This was stated at a meeting of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande in Brussels, the president’s press service reports.

“Leaders of Germany and France have confirmed that the EU sanctions against Russia will be kept until the full implementation of the Minsk agreements by Moscow,” reads a report.
