Poltorak, Stoltenberg to discuss situation in eastern Ukraine and Defense Ministry reforms in Brussels on Tue

On Tuesday, March 8, a special meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission will be held in Brussels.

The Ukrainian party will be headed by Stepan Poltorak, Defense Minister, General of the Army of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reported from Brussels.

"According to preliminary agreements, Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak will pay a working visit to the NATO headquarters. According to the agenda of the visit, he will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and will take part  in a special meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission," Head of Mission of Ukraine to NATO Egor Bozhok said this in exclusive comments to Ukrinform.

The Ukrainian diplomat noted that according to the agenda of the meeting, the parties would discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine, as well as results and future prospects of reforming of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

Bozhok added that the Ukrainian defense minister would meet with media after the meeting.
