EU calls on Ukraine to provide stability – Steinmeier

The European Union is ready to support Ukraine provided that the country's authorities ensure stability.
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said this at the meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Yes, we are fully able to provide support for Ukraine under condition of stability," he said.
Steinmeier noted that the EU was closely following the developments in Ukraine and some of them caused particular concern of the Europeans.
"I hope that the Parliament of Ukraine has passed the necessary decisions to provide further stability. It is a prerequisite for following the path of reform," he added.
