KYIV, June 10 /Ukrinform/. The Kyiv territorial defense battalion is leaving for the Donbas on Tuesday.
Head of Kyiv City State Administration Volodymyr Bondarenko said this at a press conference on Tuesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"Today our battalion is leaving for the east - rotation is underway there, and the guys who passed the training are today leaving for the war," Bondarenko said.
He said the battalion was fully equipped and armed. "The composition of the Kyiv battalion includes 430 soldiers and 32 officers," he said.
Bondarenko said that soldiers of the battalion had been trained for sponsors' money and charity donations.
