Kadyrov ready to send tens of thousands of Chechens to Ukraine
KYIV, June 2 /Ukrinform/. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said he is ready to send 74,000 residents of Chechnya to Ukraine to "put things in order" there if there is such order.
He told this to the Russian TV channel Ren TV in an interview.
When asked about the Chechens in Donetsk region, Kadyrov said that according to his information, in eastern Ukraine there were really 14 Chechens. "I was interested. Whether from the Yug battalion, or Vostok. One was killed - a young man was killed by shrapnel near the airport," he said, adding: "Yes, if I sent, it would not be 14 people, and not to Donetsk Why Donetsk, if the enemies are now in Kyiv."
Kadyrov assured that the Chechen authorities hinder volunteers who would like to go to Ukraine. "If we did not hold them, there would not be 14, but 4,000. The war for Chechens is in blood. They like it. I myself love this thing. And I can kill you, but I don't think about it," Kadyrov confessed, according to the RBC - Russia.
The Chechen leader also denied reports that he paid ransom for the release of LifeNews journalists.
