KYIV, May 30 /Ukrinform/. Some 400-500 militants linked to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov are members of terrorist groups acting in the east of Ukraine, according to the website of Chechen separatists Kavkaz Center.

"Sources report that the total number of Kadyrovites acting as part of Russian gangs in Donetsk and Luhansk regions ranges from 400 to 500 people," the report reads.

It is noted that almost all of them are members of the various military and police units of the Chechen Republic subordinated to the Russian authorities.

A reminder that at least 43 Kadyrovites were killed in Ukraine and already buried in various parts of Chechnya. 32 more Chechen militants are still missing.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian special services are training militants for terrorist activities against the pro-Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian soldiers in Donbas at camps in the border areas of the Russian Federation. Terrorist units use Russian weapons, as well as the weapons captured from Ukrainian military depots in Crimea. Then these gangs in trucks invade across the border, including breaking through the barriers of Ukrainian guards. Ukraine expressed protest against the inaction of the Federal Border Service of the Russian Federation in relation to the trespassers. In particular, on May 28 anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces neutralized in Donetsk a number of terrorist emplacements and identified among them Russian citizens. Samples of modern weapons were captured, which are in service with the Russian army only.
