Yarosh: Putin to get guerilla war in Ukraine

KYIV, May 19 /Ukrinform/. Due to the difficult situation in the east of Ukraine and the threat of Russian invasion, the authorities are forming two more Donbas battalions, Right Sector Leader Dmytro Yarosh said.

"According to information that I keep getting, the bringing of Russian forces into the eastern regions of Ukraine is absolutely real. Today we see the failure of government security agencies to confront. In my opinion, Russia, having brought its troops into the territory of Ukraine, will be defeated through the deployment of a large-scale guerrilla warfare on the basis of volunteer units that are already formed in Donbas," Yarosh says.

According to him, the Donbas-1 battalion has already been formed, it is composed of Right Sector fighters, and Donbass-2 and Donbass-3 are in the process of formation.

"We are in constant contact with the battalion commanders and coordinate our activities in Donetsk region," Yarosh said.

As Ukrinform reported, the Right Sector moved its headquarters to Dnipropetrovsk to strengthen "this outpost of Ukrainian statehood at the junction of south and east and prevent the spread of the Kremlin infection." Hence, according to Yarosh, it is now easier to monitor the situation in Donbas and take appropriate and prompt decisions.
