KYIV, March 14 /Ukrinform/. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information Mykola Tomenko urges government officials to give up their deputy mandates by March 17.

He stated this in an interview with reporters on the sidelines of the parliament, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I am convinced that the new government would not deceive its voters and Ukrainian people today. Monday is a deadline for all government officials to give up their mandates, they will not dishonor either Ukraine or faction," Tomenko noted.

In addition, he urged the new government to take measures regarding punishment of the MPs, who supported the illegitimate referendum in Crimea and call for separatism. In particular, according to Tomenko, these are Kolesnichenko, Borys Deich, Lev Mirimsky and others.

"It is necessary to dissolve not only the so-called Supreme Council of Crimea and open criminal cases against "Goblin," i. e.Aksionov, but against all MPs, who oppose Ukraine, because otherwise, Russian citizens will continue killing our fellow citizens," Tomenko said.
