France has granted political asylum to FEMEN activist Inna Shevchenko, FEMEN's official website reported.
KYIV, July 8/UKRINFORM/. France has granted political asylum to FEMEN activist Inna Shevchenko, FEMEN's official website reported.
“Inna Shevchenko has received documents granting political asylum in the Republic of France," the report says.
Shevchenko moved to Paris after she chainsawed on August 17, 2012 a memorial cross in the Independence Square in Kyiv in support of the imprisoned activists of the Russian punk band Pussy Riot. In France, she opened an international camp to train FEMEN activists.
