KYIV, May 29 /UKRINFORM/. The husband of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Oleksandr Tymoshenko, who was granted asylum in the Czech Republic, said he is ready to testify in the case of the murder of MP Yevhen Shcherban.
He said this in an interview with the Radio Free Europe /Radio Liberty.
"Tymoshenko also said he is willing to testify in the Shcherban criminal case," the report says.
At the same time, according to Tymoshenko, the murder case, in which his wife is the accused, "has completely failed."
However, Ukraine's First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin is confident that the totality of evidence gathered by the General Prosecutor's Office provides an opportunity to accuse former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko of the murder of former MP Yevhen Shcherban.
