KYIV, February 11 /UKRINFORM/. Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Rules of Procedure, Ethics and Ensuring Verkhovna Rada Activities Volodymyr Makeyenko assures that the Committee is ready to discuss the situation with withdrawal of mandates from two deputies on the decision of the High Administrative Court of Ukraine, but it cannot do this since the opposition blocks the opening of the Verkhovna Rada session.

Makeyenko has said about this on air of Podrobnosti Nedeli program on the Inter TV channel.

“As concerns the counterparts, in relation to whom the court took this decision, tomorrow the Rules of Procedure Committee is ready to gather on this occasion. But we are not able: the parliament is blocked. And until the Verkhovna Rada session is not opened, the Rules of Procedure Committee, as well as other committees, cannot start working,” the people's deputy said.

As reported by the agency, on February 8, the High Administrative Court deprived Pavlo Baloha and Oleksandr Dombrovsky of deputy mandates, having resolved that results of elections in single-seat districts No. 11 (Vinnytsia) and No. 71 (Zakarpattia) are impossible to be established following the vote counting. Defense lawyers of Baloha and Dombrovsky intend to challenge this decision at the European Court of Human Rights.

The parliamentary opposition continues to block the VR rostrum and presidium since February 5, demanding to launch the personal voting system Rada 3.
