Ukrainian students to hold actions in Brussels to support Sushchenko, Semena

During the open day of the Council of Europe, Ukrainian students will hold actions in Brussels to support Ukrinform correspondent in France Roman Sushchenko and Ukrainian journalist Mykola Semena.

Head of the Information Policy Ministry’s sector of the media communication and cooperation with media, Maryna Sobotyuk said this during the presentation of Ukrinform to international journalists.

"May 6, the Student Abroad organization and the Information Policy Ministry representatives will conduct an action #FreeSushchenko on the open day of the Council of Europe," Sobotyuk said.

According to her, it will be live event on Facebook in order to demonstrate that Ukraine within the Council of Europe supports its journalist who is a hostage to the Kremlin.

The students will organize a similar action in support of Ukrainian journalist Mykola Semena.
