The President has approved lifelong state scholarships for firefighters who took a direct part in extinguishing the fire at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986.

"President Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree on lifelong state scholarships for the firefighters who took a direct part in extinguishing the fire at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986," the report said.
