Dmytro Storozhuk: Lowest salary at prosecutor’s office totals UAH 10,000

The lowest salary at the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office totals UAH 10,000, First Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Storozhuk has said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“At the beginning of the last year, the lowest salary in the system of the prosecutor's office was at the level of UAH 4,500. At the end of the last year, prosecutors received at least UAH 6,900. This year, the lowest salary of our employee at the local prosecutor's office will reach UAH 10,000,” he said.
At the same time, according to Storozhuk, the lowest salary at the Prosecutor General's Office is UAH 15,000 "And then it depends on the length of service. Here [at the Prosecutor General's Office] the salary totals around UAH 20-30 thousand,” he said.
