Klimkin: We need visa-free regime but not signal from EU

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin hopes that a final decision on the introduction of visa-free regime between the EU and Ukraine will be made before the end of the year.
He told this to reporters after the government’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Technically, the visa-free regime for us and for Georgia will operate as soon as the response mechanism on migration risks is adopted. In other words, we can usually give some kind of political signal, but we do not need a signal, we need a visa-free regime, we went to travel without visa," Klimkin said.
He added that he hoped that it would be adopted until the end of the year.
According to him, the discussions are carried out on the establishment of a mechanism to respond to the migration processes.
