Panel discussion: Inclusive society in Ukraine. The path of a person with a disability to an independent life

Speakers: Olena Chinka - Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, head of the All-Ukrainian NGO "Foundation for the Support and Development of Art and Sports "Yedina Kraina", master's degree in physical therapy and occupational therapy; Olesya Perepechenko – typhlopedagogue and rehabilitator, executive director of the All-Ukrainian League of Organizations of People with Visual Disabilities "Modern View"; Yana Kopytina - rehabilitator, associate professor of the Department of Health, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy, member of the General Assembly "All-Ukrainian League of Organizations of Persons with Visual Disabilities "Modern View"; Natalya Adamyuk - NGO "All-Ukrainian Public Organization of People with Hearing Disabilities "Ukrainian Society of the Deaf", researcher and teacher of sign language, author of 150 articles; Tetyana Kryvko is the first deputy head of the "Ukrainian Society of the Deaf", deals with issues of social protection of the deaf and rehabilitation of people with hearing impairments; Maria Zvyagintseva – head of the analytical direction of the Legal Hundred NGO; Maryna Syrytsia - family psychologist of BF "Rehabilitation and readaptation center "Yarmiz"; Oksana Kolyada is the head of the NGO "Space of Opportunities", a representative of the Coalition of Veteran Spaces.

Representatives of the mass media, the Elena Zelenska Foundation, the International Renaissance Foundation, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Kyiv City State Administration, the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, public organizations, businesses, international organizations, and Embassies in Ukraine are invited to the discussion.

Key issues of the discussion:

• Implementation of an inclusive culture and values of an inclusive society in Ukraine at all levels: state, community, public sector, business, every citizen.
• Presentation of the project "Practical guide for people, civilians and military, who received a disability as a result of the war".
• The role of the state, local authorities, and the public sector in the implementation of the National Strategy for the creation of a barrier-free space in Ukraine.

The format of the event is offline (Hall 1).

Speeches will be accompanied by sign interpretation.
