On May 25, at 11:00, a press conference will be held on the topic: "Disappeared in the occupation: where and in what conditions Ukrainians are kept."

Participants: Tetyana Katrychenko - coordinator of the Media Initiative for Human Rights; Artur Prikhno - journalist of the Media Initiative for Human Rights; Maria Klymyk - journalist of the Media Initiative for Human Rights; lawyers; victim; Andriy Yakovlev - lawyer, expert of the Media Initiative for Human Rights; Dmytro Levitsky and Volodymyr Khropun have been released from illegal imprisonment.

For reference.

 The Media Initiative for Human Rights collected information on places of detention of Ukrainians in Belarus and Russia, as well as in the prisons of Luhansk, Donetsk, their environs and the occupied Crimea.

By detaining Ukrainians, Russia is trying to reduce resistance to the occupation and replenish the "exchange fund".

Such actions are qualified by Ukrainian law enforcement as illegal imprisonment or kidnapping.

They are also war crimes.

The format of the event is offline (Hall 2).

 Journalists will be able to ask questions offline (Hall 2).

 Journalists are asked to arrive half an hour before the event. Accreditation of media representatives:
