Russian propaganda fakes Zelensky’s USD 9M New York home purchase
Russian propagandist media outlets and Telegram channels are circulating a video supposedly from the American outlet Page Six, which specializes in celebrity and entertainment news. The video claims that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly purchased a house in New York for 29 million USD from disgraced comedian Bill Cosby through an offshore company.

This is a fake. The news video about Zelensky “buying” this property does not appear on the official Page Six website or on any of its social media channels. The fabricated video contains no evidence – including documents – that could support the claim of such a real estate purchase.

The fake video mentions a company called Film Heritage Inc., through which the mansion supposedly belonging to Bill Cosby was purchased. In reality, this company, allegedly located in Basel, Switzerland, was invented by Russian propagandists.
Ukrinform’s fact-checking team previously debunked similar fakes about Zelensky allegedly “buying” property, where the same fictitious company was involved. Those earlier claims included a hotel in Courchevel and Europe’s largest casino, Vuni Palace.
It is worth noting that to fabricate this new fake, Russians created a cloned Page Six website on November 27. Its listed mailing address is in Iceland.
The fake site uses the domain name pagesix.now instead of pagesix.com. The clone has no links to social media and features a different layout.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian propagandists earlier spread a false claim that President Zelensky allegedly “transfers” $50 million each month to a Saudi bank.
