More than 33,000 households remain without power in Odesa region due to severe weather – DTEK

In Odesa Region, more than 33,000 households in 176 villages and towns remain without electricity as a result of adverse weather conditions.

According to Ukrinform, DTEK Group stated this on Telegram.

Over the past day, power engineers restored electricity to more than 300,000 families in 558 settlements, despite frost and icy winds.

"Another 33.1 thousand households in 176 villages and towns remain without power," the statement said.

The most extensive repair work is underway in Berezivka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and Odesa districts of the region.

Restoration work is ongoing. Repair crews are working around the clock to restore power as quickly as possible.

As Ukrinform previously reported, energy workers managed to stabilize the situation and reinstate power supply schedules in the Kyiv region and for some consumers in the Odesa region.

In the Odesa region, severe weather conditions during the night of January 31 caused downed power lines and damage to electrical networks, resulting in power outages in several districts.
