Explosion occurs in Kyiv, one person killed

An explosion occurred in the Darnytskyi district of the capital, killing one person and injuring another.
This was reported by the Kyiv Police Communications Department on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“According to preliminary information, one person was killed, and another was injured as a result of the detonation of an unknown device,” the report said.
Investigation teams, forensic experts, bomb disposal experts, and dog handlers are currently working at the scene.
All circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
As reported by Ukrinform, on October 30, at the Ukrposhta customs post of the Kyiv Customs, during the inspection of postal items being cleared for export from Ukraine, an unknown object contained in a parcel exploded. Two employees of the Kyiv Customs and three employees of JSC Ukrposhta were injured.
