School bus colides in Dnipropetrovsk region: two dead, seven injured

In the Kamianske district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, a school bus collided with a Volkswagen Transporter. Two people were killed and seven others, including a child, were injured.

This was reported on Facebook by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk region, according to Ukrinform.

"This morning, the Rescue Service received a report of an accident on the Stryi-Luhansk-Izvaryne highway, near the village of Saksahan in the Kamianske district. ...It has been established that a ZAZ school bus collided with a Volkswagen Transporter," the report said.

Two men were killed in the Volkswagen Transporter as a result of the accident. Rescuers had to extricate one of them from the damaged car. Seven other people, including one child, who were in the school bus, suffered injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized.

The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.

As reported by Ukrinform, a police officer who hit a child while driving a service car was detained in the Chernihiv region.
