Four servicemen killed in road accident in Lviv region
According to Ukrinform, the State Bureau of Investigation reported the incident.
Preliminary information indicates that on October 30, at approximately 21:15, near the village of Zhyrivka in the Lviv district, the driver of a Nissan vehicle with military license plates lost control while turning. The vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a stationary truck.
As a result of the crash, the driver and two passengers of the Nissan were killed, as well as a soldier who was a passenger in the truck and was exiting the vehicle at the time of the collision.
SBI investigators and operational officers conducted an on-site inspection, collected physical evidence, interviewed witnesses, and initiated a series of investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of the tragedy.
A criminal proceeding has been opened under Part 2 of Article 415 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of driving or vehicle operation rules resulting in the death of several persons).
As Ukrinform reported earlier, a road accident involving a passenger car and a medical emergency vehicle occurred in the Mykolaiv district, injuring two medical workers.
