Some residents of Rivne were left without electricity due to technical reasons.

The Head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, reported on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Due to technical reasons, some users in the regional center are currently without power,” Koval wrote.

He added that energy companies are working to resolve the issue.

Preliminarily, power is expected to be restored in a few hours, the Head of the Regional Military Administration noted.

In turn, the secretary of the Rivne City Council, acting mayor Viktor Shakirzian, said that due to an emergency on the power grids owned by NPC Ukrenergo, trolleybus service on several routes has been temporarily suspended.

“These restrictions are necessary and are related to the need to carry out emergency repair work on the city's energy infrastructure, which provides electricity for the trolleybus network,” the official added.

He later reported that “all trolleybuses are running on their routes.”

As reported, on the morning of October 3, the Shostka and part of the Konotop districts were left without power due to Russian strikes on critical infrastructure.
