Severe weather has impacted multiple regions of Ukraine, bringing heavy rains and squally winds that caused widespread flooding and downed trees.

According to a Facebook post by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, cited by Ukrinform, emergency crews were deployed across the Rivne, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Rescuers pumped water from basements, yards, and residential buildings, cleared fallen trees, and provided assistance to affected residents.

Flooding was reported in Rivne, Zviahel, Vyshnivka, and Sharhorod. In the Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions, more than 120 settlements were left without electricity. Restoration efforts are underway, and fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of Tuesday morning, July 29, 477 settlements across seven regions in Ukraine were fully or partially without electricity due to severe weather.
