A Su-25 (Frogfoot) military attack aircraft crashed in Primorsk Area, Russia’s Far East.

This was reported by Current Time, Ukrinform saw.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the pilot successfully ejected before being found by a search and rescue team.

According to the ministry, the aircraft crashed "during a scheduled training flight."

The plane, which carried no munitions, crashed in a deserted area. Technical malfunction is seen as a tentative cause of the crash.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, just last week, a Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in Russia’s Leningrad region, near the village of Shugovitsy.
