Ukrainian teenage girl found unconscious on UK beach dies in hospital
That’s according to Sky News, Ukrinform reports.
The girl's death is being treated as unexplained, according to law enforcement.
Officers said they were called on Saturday evening to reports of a teenage girl missing from the Dawlish area. Searches involved a police helicopter and coastguard.
The Ukrainian girl found on the beach was airlifted to the hospital where she later died.
The police are urging anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage to come forward if footage can assist the inquiry.
"The deceased girl was a Ukrainian national who was living in the Dawlish area; contact has been made with the Ukrainian Embassy and the Home Office are also aware of this incident,” reported Detective Inspector Becky Davies of Devon and Cornwall Police:
