Ukrainian consul monitoring situation with Geroi of Arsenala dry cargo ship

The consul of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don is monitoring the situation with the wreck of a dry cargo ship with Ukrainians on board.
The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s consular service department reported this on Twitter.
“The consul in Rostov-on-Don is in operational contact with the Kransodar Krai's Emergencies Ministry department and is monitoring the situation with the shipwreck in the Kerch Strait," reads the report.
The dry cargo ship Geroi of Arsenala wrecked in the waters of the Black Sea on April 19.
There is information that there were 12 crew members on board: nine Ukrainians, two Russians and one Georgian.
According to some media reports, five crew members have been rescued, while seven are said to be missing.
Rescue operations are under way.
