Ihor Surkis: “It's inadmissible for Dynamo to play behind closed doors”

KYIV, August 29 /Ukrinform/. FC Dynamo Kyiv president Ihor Surkis lamented that under the UEFA decision the Kyiv side will play their home match against FC Aktobe behind closed doors. According to him, because of a few fans the team's reputation was hit, and the club suffered losses.

“It's inadmissible for Dynamo to play behind closed doors. At the moment our club is responsible for whose fans that caused such troubles. These four or five rascals have deprived 25-30 thousand spectators of the opportunity to watch this game at the stadium. Never the less we must go through it and try not to let such things happen again,” Surkis noted.

A reminder that Dynamo will take on Aktobe on Thursday, August 29 at Olimpiyskiy NSC in Kyiv, 19.00 Kyiv time. The game will be aired by 2+2. In the first leg of the UEFA Europa League round play-off the Kyiv side earned a 3-2 away win at the Kazakhstani club.
