Kernes re-elected as Kharkiv mayor

Hennadiy Kernes has been re-elected as Kharkiv mayor, winning 60.34% of the vote, Ukraine's Public Broadcasting Company has reported.

"Kharkiv City Territorial Election Commission has counted 100% of the votes. Hennadiy Kernes has been re-elected as Kharkiv mayor with a result of 60.34%," the report said.

According to the report, Kernes garnered 60.34% (195,044 votes), Oleksandr Feldman - 14.32% (46,278), Oleksii Kucher - 7.24% (23,401), Oleh Abramychev - 6.6% (21,315), and Ihor Cherniak - 3.12% (10,085).

Behind them are Oleksandra Naryzhna - 1.94% (6,282 votes), Mykyta Soloviov - 1.3% (4,199), Denys Yaroslavskyi - 1% (3,233), Serhii Kushnariov - 0.76% (2,470), Ihor Prykhodko - 0.58% (1,888), Iryna Denysova - 0.42% (1,371), Valerii Bezlepkin - 0.17% (564), Natalia Pylypenko - 0.17% (558), and Heorhii Lahovskyi - 0.11% (349).

As many as 323,218 people took part in the Kharkiv mayoral election. More than 6,100 ballots were declared invalid.
