The local elections in Ukraine on October 25 are very important for citizens, rather than for political parties, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He said this in his annual address to the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, October 20, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Local elections will be held in Ukraine on October 25. They are very important. Not for political parties. But for you. For the development and wellfare of your cities, villages, communities," Zelensky said.
He recalled that on that day he intends to ask Ukrainians five questions and will wait for answers.
Zelensky released a video message on October 13, calling on Ukrainians to come to the polls on Sunday, October 25, and answer five important questions.
