CEC accredits 312 official observers in Ukraine's local elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has accredited a further 90 official observers in Ukraine's local elections, bringing their total number to 312, according to the CEC website.

According to the report, the CEC at a meeting on October 15 accredited 19 observers from Hungary, five from Germany, one from Kazakhstan, 24 from the Committee for Open Democracy. 27 from the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, one from the International Foundation for Better Governance, ten from the Ukrainian World Congress, and three from the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America.

In total, according to the CEC, 312 official observers have already been accredited for the local elections - 41 from six countries and 271 from nine international organizations.

Local elections in Ukraine will take place on October 25, 2020.
