Local elections: CEC registers observers from two international organizations

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has registered another 89 official observers to monitor local elections in Ukraine.

“Having considered relevant motions from two international organizations, the commission accredited 89 official observers for the local elections on October 25, 2020. In particular: 81 - from the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and eight - from the National Democratic Institute for International Relations,” reads a report released by the commission's media liaisons department .

Overall, 117 official observers have been registered for the local elections: eight from two foreign states and 109 from four international organizations.
