CEC registers 841 more parliamentary candidates running in single-member constituencies

On June 25, the Central Election Commission (CEC) registered 841 more parliamentary candidates running in single-member constituencies and 339 candidates running in multi-member constituencies.

The relevant decision was approved at the CEC meeting on Tuesday evening, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

In particular, the candidates registered in single-member constituencies include 229 self-nominee candidates. Among the candidates registered in multi-member constituencies on party lists were 174 candidates from the Agrarian Party of Ukraine, 122 from the Patriot Party and 43 from the Party of Greens of Ukraine.

Thus, as of June 25, over 3,000 candidates for parliament have been already registered in single-member constituencies.

As reported, Ukraine’s early parliamentary elections are scheduled for July 21.
