UK’s Electoral Commission chair visits Central Election Commission of Ukraine
“Meetings like this are another important step towards the improvement and development of international relations of the Central Election Commission, establishment of the exchange of knowledge and experience and spread of successful practices. I am sure that we have a lot to share with our guest. For example, the experience in voter registration as the order introduced in our State Voter Register can be considered almost paragon,” said Tetiana Slipachuk, the Chair of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, the CEC’s press service reports.
Sir Holmes, together with his colleagues and representatives of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, familiarized with the resource base of the Commission and spoke with the heads of departments.
The meeting was organized with the assistance of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) as part of its cooperation with the Central Election Commission of Ukraine.
