Serbian president congratulates Zelensky on victory

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić has congratulated Volodymyr Zelensky on winning Ukraine's presidential election and thanked Ukraine for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
Ukrinform learnt this from the press service of the Serbian president.
“Congratulations to President-elect Zelensky. I wish him success in this responsible post. In this regard, I want to thank Ukraine for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia," reads a statement.
Vučić expressed hope for establishing good economic ties and fruitful cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
As reported, the second round of Ukraine’s presidential elections was held on Sunday, April 21. According to the National Exit Poll, Volodymyr Zelensky won 73% of the vote, and Petro Poroshenko got 25.5%.
The voter turnout was 62.07%.
