Russian journalists denied access to polling station in Minsk

"Representatives of the Russian media were not admitted to a foreign polling station for the election of the president of Ukraine in Minsk. They could only film behind the fence of the [Ukrainian] embassy - this is the decision of the election commission. [...] Correspondents of Russian news agencies TASS, RIA Novosti, television channels REN-TV and NTV were filming only in the street. They also polled Ukrainian citizens," reads the report.

According to the report, Belarusian, Ukrainian and foreign journalists could freely visit the polling station.

Belarus is home to about 12,000 Ukrainian citizens who are eligible to vote and can vote at two polling stations located at the premises of the Ukrainian Embassy in Minsk and the Ukrainian Consulate in Brest.
