Over 4.8 mln Ukrainians have already voted in elections

More than 4.8 million Ukrainians have already received ballot papers for voting in the presidential elections, accounting for 16.63% of voters.
"At present, 4 million 848 thousand 926 citizens of Ukraine have received ballot papers for voting, accounting for 16.63% of the total number of voters in the country," Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine Oleh Konopolsky said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He emphasized that the highest voter turnout has been recorded so far in Zaporizhzhia region (20.74%), the lowest - in Zakarpattia region (8.3%)
According to the information of the press center of the Central Election Commission, the data on the voter turnover as of 11:00 was submitted by 198 out of 199 territorial electoral districts (without taking into account the overseas territorial district). The voter turnover is 16.67%.
