U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine: Today is momentous day for democracy

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch hopes that Ukrainians will take advantage of their right to shape the nation’s future on March 31.
“Ambassador Yovanovitch: Today is a momentous day for democracy as Ukrainian citizens head to the polls. I hope all eligible Ukrainians take advantage of this important opportunity to shape their nation’s future,” the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine posted on Twitter.
The presidential elections take place in Ukraine on March 31. Thirty-nine candidates are on a voting ballot.
