CEC completes reception of documents for participation in presidential election

Ukraine's Central Election Commission (CEC) has completed the reception of documents for registration of candidates for the presidential election in Ukraine on March 31, 2019.
In accordance with the current legislation, February 3 was the last day to submit documents, Ukrinform reported.
In total, 89 people submitted documents to the CEC, 17 of them on the last day of submission of documents.
The CEC has currently registered 28 candidates for the presidential election.
Incumbent President Petro Poroshenko submitted documents to the CEC to register as a presidential candidate on February 3.
