Ireland allocates €25M to support Ukraine’s energy infrastructure

The Irish government has approved the allocation of €25 million to Ukraine to support its energy infrastructure.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the social media platform X, according to Ukrinform.
Sybiha thanked Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence, Helen McEntee, and the Irish government for approving €25 million to support Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
“This vital contribution comes at a critical time, as communities across Ukraine endure heating outages caused by Russian attacks during one of the harshest winters in years,” Sybiha said.
As Ukrinform previously reported, in early December last year Ireland pledged to provide an additional €125 million in financial support to Ukraine, including €100 million for non-lethal military assistance.
