Warsaw will provide Kyiv with a defense credit, with the relevant agreement expected to be signed in the first half of 2026.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Bodnar said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"We are at the final stage of coordinating all the details related to signing the agreement on this credit. The finance ministries of both countries are aligning the terms, and we have involved representatives of the Ministry of Defense and other institutions to help shape the substantive part regarding the proper use of the credit to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and cooperation in the defense industry. I hope we will sign this agreement in the first half of the year," Bodnar said.
